2 is Better Than 1

Land Purchase, partial Demolition and construction of a 2 Home, 3 bed, 2 bath, DLUG Duplex

This project was named after a client and friend, whose uncle had the street named after him many years ago. Previously, it was an old highset residential home. Sadly, it burned down before our purchase of the 1000m2 site, located close to a village centre and railway station. Being greater than 800m2 and a flat block, a duplex was self-assessable, meaning we just needed to design and have a building certifier approve the two homes before we started work. Total project costs were forecast at approximately $700,000 with each home expecting to sell for $450k each on completion.
